Example of work 1
Late 2015 and early 2016 Hawthorn Estates were commissioned to complete some renovations works on a grade II listed building on Princess Street in Manchester City Centre.This grade II listed building is an old warehouse construction, with four floors of office space of these 3 floors were chosen to have renovations. The renovations included blasting beams and walls while tenants occupied the building as well installation of acoustic flooring and general Building work.
Example of work 2
Hawthorn Estates where commissioned early April 2016 to complete a refit on a commercial building in the Town Centre of Padiham, Lancashire. This commercial building was subjected to the severe flooding early in 2016 resulting in the ground floor being covered in two foot of water, after a river overflowed. The work that was contracted consisted of removal and replacement of carpets and fixtures, treatment was also required for exposed flooring, timbers and the lower stair case. The removal of a wheelchair lift caused further work as the motor was submerged in water causing it to drop and damage the ceiling. Full re-wire/Plaster and new heating system.
Example of work 3
The end of July beginning of August 2017 Hawthorn Estates carried out a job in Birmingham to refit a kitchen in a shop basement after flood damage. The work that was contracted consisted of replacing a damaged old cast Iron down pipe which had been left over 10 years, this resulted in the wetting of a wall and damaging the kitchen. We were asked to replace the damaged kitchen, plasterboard, flooring and ceiling tiles. One aspect of difficulty was passing an internal downpipe through 3 floors into the shop without causing disruption or closure.
