Sandy Lane Projects pride ourselves in being new build and residential development specialists however have also undertaken projects in the commercial and education sectors.

 

We have experience in all forms of construction contracts from minor works and traditional contracts to design and build.

 

Sandy Lane Projects can offer competitive tender bids for any new build development our clients may be undertaking. We believe in working closely with our clients and look to build strong relationships.

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

 

Sandy Lane Projects can undertake the organisation and supervision of any construction project, principally in the new build and property sectors. Prioritising and managing resources, provide knowledge, skills and leadership in the execution of projects from inception to completion.

 

Sandy Lane Projects provide initial costings and organise Architects and Engineers to offer a package of services prior to commencement for the Client’s consideration and approval. Once commissioned, Sandy Lane Projects will take on all aspects of the construction process.

 

Depending on our brief this can include:

 

·       Negotiations and procurement of works contractors

·       Programming of each individual trade

·       Supply of plant and materials

·       Supervision by an experienced Project Manager

·       Regular reporting to Client

·       Full Health and Safety procedures

Brownlow Road, South Croydon – Contemporary Detached Bungalow Project Description: Development of a single detached contemporary bungalow constructed to an extremely high standard. Construction consisted of strip footing foundations with a structural steel frame and cavity block work with a mix of external facing bricks and treated timber cladding. The roof was fitted with aluminium cladding around the vertical face and the soffits were rendered and fitted with LED lighting. Internal features included an open plan kitchen living area with an island unit and sliding doors. The bathroom and en-suite were fully tiled with chrome sanitary ware. Extensive external works were carried out around the building including gabion retaining walls, block paved driveway, automatic gates as well as landscaped gardens and patio area. Woodcote Drive, Purley – Development of 9 Apartments Project Description: Development of 9 apartments in Purley consisting of 6 x 1-bedroom apartments and 3 x 3-bedroom apartments each with outdoor terrace spaces. Details of the build included feature brickwork and aluminium cladding around bay windows which were made bespoke on site. Internally the apartments were finished to extremely high standard with shaker style kitchens, Bosch appliances and quartz worktops. The bathrooms were finished with Porcelanosa tiles and chrome sanitaryware with all the bedrooms having fitted wardrobes. External works included resin driveway with granite sets and landscaped garden. Separate timber bike and bin stores were also included as part of the build. Treloar School & College, Alton – Hope Court Project Description: Construction of 40 staff accommodation units within a school campus for special needs students which was constructed across two single storey blocks. Particulars of the build included strip footing foundations and traditional brickwork with aluminium sheet roofing and bespoke guttering and downpipes. Internally, all bedrooms were constructed with en-suite bathrooms and each block had a dedicated kitchen and lounge area. All spoil from earthworks was kept on site forming an earthworks mound for value engineering and to reduce cost to our client, Treloar Trust.
